I need dial-up internet until such time as DSL becomes available in my area.
I am absolutely not interested in AOL software, nor do I want to install a proprietary dialer. I simply want to set up a connection via Windows Control Panel and then dial-in. I want to get on the Internet for $9.95 a month.
If I subscribe to the AOL Advantage Essentials plan ($9.95 per month), will I be forced to use their proprietary dialer?
